This first-time guide will walk you through how to use LiveTiles Blueprint.
When you first open the LiveTiles Blueprint app, you will be shown a blank canvas with a single site block. This block represents the site/subsite in which the blueprint will be deployed to. From here you will be able to add in list blocks, site pages and site blocks in order to build out your site.
When you drag a list block onto a site block, you will be shown a modal window with options to give the block a name and a description. The name will be the name of the list that will be shown in the site contents when the page has been built, while the description will apply a description to the list that you are creating.

When you drag a page block onto the page, you will be shown a modal window with options to give the site page a name and the location of the page that you would like to add to the site. The page name will be the page name that will be assigned when the page is recreated in the new site and the page location gets the location of the page you are copying to the new site.

When you drag a site block onto another site block, you will be shown a modal window with the options to give the site a name, URL and description. The site name will give the site it's name when it is built out in SharePoint, the URL will be the URL which will be applied to the subsite and the description will be the description that will be applied to the site. In addition, you will be able to check or uncheck the box marked inherit permissions from parent site. If this is checked, the subsite will inherit the permissions of the parent site.

When you would like to save a blueprint, you will be able to go up to the right hand corner of the blueprint canvas and click the Save As button. This will save the blueprint to the app. When you would like to export the blueprint so that it can be used to build out sites in other site collections and/or tenants, you can click the export button. This will package up the blueprint and with the download button, you will download a .json file which contains the blueprint.
Saving a Blueprint
If you would like to import a blueprint, you will be able to import a .json blueprint by clicking on the import button. This will import the blueprint into the LiveTiles Blueprint app.
Once you have a blueprint that you would like to construct into the site you are on, you can click the construct button. You will be shown a URL box. If the URL is left blank, the blueprint will be built to the site you are currently on, however if you would like to build the blueprint on one of the subsites, you have the option to traverse using the URL to the subsite you want to build from.
