Allows you to search SharePoint, Google or Bing directly.
How to use
When you place the search box onto the page, you're able to configure it using one of the following settings: SharePoint, Google, Bing, Yahoo or Ask. However, if you have a custom search path or want to link to a search engine that is not part of the preset search engines, then you will be able to put in a custom link instead.
Width – Adjusts the width of the tile, in pixels.
Height – Adjusts the height of the tile, in pixels.
Background Color – Changes the background color of the tile using the color picker.
Padding – Adjusts the padding (the gap between the text and the edge of the tile) to the left, right, top or bottom of the tile, in pixels.
Place-holder Text – Changes the title of the tile.
Font Family – Changes the font family of the text within the Text field. Selectable via a drop-down list.
Font Size – Changes the size (in pixels) of the text within the Text field.
Font Color – Changes the color of the text within the Text field. Selectable via the color picker.
Font Style – Changes the style of the text within the Text field. Either Italic and/or Underlined.
Font Weight – Changes the weight of the text within the Text field. Selectable via drop-down list.
Icon Path – Sets the location of where the icon image is retrieved from.
Icon Background Color – Changes the background color of the icon using the color picker.
Search Provider – Changes which search provider the search tile uses, either SharePoint, Google, Bing, Yahoo or Ask.
Search Scope – Changes the breadth of the search, either searches Everything, the Site Collection or the Subsite.
Link Target – Changes where the links opens, either in a New Window or In Place.
Custom Search Path – If you have a custom search engine or one that isn't one of the current search engines, you will be able to put in a custom search path to that engine.
Layer – Changes the depth of the tiles within the page. Selectable via drop-down either Foreground, Background or Custom.
Reorder Within Layer - Changes the depth of the tiles within the layer. Selectable via drop-down either ‘No Change’, ‘Bring to Front’ or ‘Send to Back’.
Tile Visibility – Changes which groups can or cannot view the tile. Selectable via dropdown either Everyone, ‘Only for’ or ‘For everyone except’. When ‘Only for’ or ‘For everyone except’ is selected, a dropdown menu will appear where you can assign groups to the category that was selected.
Lock Tile for Non-owners – Toggles whether only tile can be only modified by an owner.
Custom CSS Classes: This section allows you to add multiple Custom CSS classes to the product, allowing you to be able to add custom CSS classes to the tile.
